 Origin of these grains unknown. Live grains received in Gauteng 2014 and cultivated with raw milk since.

This food is alive and continues to grow. The milk kefir made from these grains, is safe to consume for at least 6 months, when produced with raw milk.

  • 60g makes 500ml drinking kefir and grows infinitely
  • 120g makes 1L drinking kefir and grows infinitely

(Vacuum packed or bottled in glass depending on transport).

Once opened use immediately to make your 1st batch of milk kefir or store in refrigerator in milk until ready to use. When the grains are not in use, and stored for later use, ensure sufficient milk (minimum 1 liter per 100g for a period of 4 weeks) and keep refrigerated until next use.

Store on a separate shelf from other cultures (sourdough, kombucha, etc.).

NEVER FREEZE.
